Our Mission

Metro-Med is a company founded to provide the highest quality care to patients while increasing patients' mobility and independence.  We aim to be the provider of choice in every market we choose to serve.

Company Profile

Founded in 1980, Metro-Med, Inc. is a company specialized in respiratory and durable medical equipment for use in the home.  Supplemental oxygen, sleep disorder equipment, ambulatory aids, hospital beds and more all are available for delivery to patients' homes or to coincide with discharge home from hospital.

We currently operate three locations: our main office in Burbank, with branches in Los Alamitos and Ventura, California.  Between these facilities, Metro-Med's service area covers Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. 

Metro-Med is accredited by the Joint Commission for Accrediting Health Organizations (JCAHO), first in 2000 and again in 2003.  We also belong to the American Association for Home Care.
